Artwork Approval Terms
Important – Artwork Approval 🤍
Please take a moment to carefully review your mock-up and the information below before confirming approval.
Your approval confirms that you are happy with the artwork as presented and authorises JJ Bespoke Print to proceed with production.
1. Design & artwork
Your mock-up represents the final design to be produced, including all background colours, fonts, wording, spelling, layout and design elements.
Any background colours shown within the artwork form part of the finished design and are not for presentation purposes only, unless explicitly stated.
Where inspiration images have been supplied, these are used as a design reference. Please ensure the final mock-up reflects your requirements, as the approved artwork will be used for production.
Please carefully check all names, dates, spelling, wording, colours and positioning before approving.
2. Colours & materials
Colours may vary between your screen and the finished product due to differences between RGB (screen) and CMYK (print), screen brightness, device settings, printing processes and materials.
Colours and finishes may also appear differently depending on the material selected, including acrylic, Foamex, fabric and cardstock.
A screen preview cannot show an exact printed colour or finish. If a particular colour is important to your order, please discuss it with us before approving.
3. Customer-supplied images & print quality
Customer-supplied photographs and images will be reproduced using the files provided, unless otherwise agreed. Please supply images of suitable quality and resolution for the intended print size. If you are unsure, ask us to check before approving.
- Low-resolution, blurred, pixelated or compressed images may result in reduced print quality.
- Screenshots, social media images, photographs of printed photographs and older scanned images may not reproduce to the same standard as original high-resolution digital files.
- Enlarging an image does not improve its original resolution or quality.
- Existing imperfections, including grain, glare, reflections, discolouration or lack of sharpness, may remain visible in the finished print.
- Images may require cropping or resizing to fit the agreed design. Please check their positioning carefully within your mock-up.
We cannot improve detail that is missing from the original file. Where we identify a quality concern, we will explain it before asking you to approve. Please review any visible limitations and any concerns we have explained, including resolution, cropping and positioning.
Approval of an explained image limitation does not excuse printing errors or remove our responsibility to reproduce the agreed artwork with reasonable care and skill.
4. Copyright & permissions
Where you supply artwork, logos, photographs, illustrations, fonts or other designs, you confirm that you own the relevant rights or have obtained the necessary permission or licence for reproduction.
By approving the artwork, you confirm that JJ Bespoke Print has permission to reproduce the supplied materials for the purposes of fulfilling your order.
JJ Bespoke Print reserves the right to refuse artwork where copyright ownership or permission is unclear.
5. Sizing & layout
Please check that all dimensions stated on your order and proof are correct and suitable for your intended use. If the size is missing or unclear, please ask us before approving.
Mock-ups demonstrate the finished design and may not be displayed to physical scale.
6. Approval, amendments & production
By approving your mock-up, you confirm that you have carefully reviewed and accepted this version of the artwork, including all design elements, colours, backgrounds, wording, images and layout.
Once artwork has been approved and production has commenced, changes may no longer be possible. Requested amendments, changes of preference or replacements needed because of overlooked details or incorrect customer-supplied information may involve additional work and charges. We will explain and agree any additional charges with you before proceeding.
Where revised artwork is issued, approval of the latest version will be required before production.
Approval of a mock-up does not remove your statutory consumer rights. JJ Bespoke Print remains responsible for products that are faulty, incorrectly produced or otherwise do not conform to your order.
Confirmation of approval
To authorise production through ApprovePro, please read this information, review every page of your mock-up, complete the approval checklist and select “Approve artwork for print”.
If anything needs changing or is unclear, select “Request changes” and explain what is needed before approving.
